What an issue looks like

Every issue of The Solution-Focused Practice is built around one idea you can use in your next conversation. Here are three.

On strategic listening

The Solution-Focused Ear

A good practitioner does not just listen for empathy. They listen strategically. What the Solution-Focused Ear listens for, what it ignores, and why that distinction drives faster follow-through.

On client ownership

What You'll Find Inside

Practical. Evidence-based. Immediately applicable.

Each issue is built around a single concept that changes how you show up in conversations β€” with patients, clients, or your team.

Practitioner-first thinking

Every concept is filtered through one question: what does this mean for the professional in a real conversation? No theory for its own sake.

Evidence that holds up

The Solution-Focused approach has decades of research behind it. The newsletter reflects that β€” without the academic distance.

Voices from the field

Certified practitioners share specific shifts in their work β€” what changed, what improved, and what they wish they'd known sooner.
